Roll-up for the Festival opening event! Opening night of the Festival Hub at The Showroom on Park Street. Preview the exhibitions, enjoy some live music and get to meet some of the Festival organisers.
There’s bike decoration workshops on the 2 days before and then there’s a load of ehibitions and events for the duration of the festival – more details coming soon. Also just a great place to meet up and share Festival news.
This family are out on their choppers in preparation for Carnivelo. They wouldn’t reveal their plans for how the bikes will be decorated on the big day but from the look of these 2 they’re going to be uber-cool!
This year, the festival will have an HQ at the Showroom shop and arts space at 31, College Green (in between Hobgolblin music store and Tescos). The space will be filled with bicycle related art, activities, events, a library and cakes we hope… If you are interested in getting involved and using the space- displaying art, running an event etc, we’d like to hear from you…it’s a great space, right in the middle of the city
