Competition now closed, but you can still get tickets for the film from the link below.
Inspired to Ride is a new documentary from US film maker Mike Dion, covering the highs and lows of the Trans Am, arguably the world’s toughest bike race. The event crosses the US, support crews are strictly forbidden, and to stand a chance of success, the racers have to cover around 300 miles a day, carrying all their equipment with them.
To whip up some hype for our Bristol screening of Inspired to Ride on Monday 8 June, we’re running a little competition to win one of the original film posters. Printed on heavyweight paper in glorious colour, it’ll look great hanging above your turbo trainer. We’ll also throw in an official Trans Am Tribe T-shirt. Wear it in public and the ultra-endurance racing cognoscenti will think you’re hard as nails. It’s a medium, but you can always have your tailor take it in when you get down to racing weight.
To win, just email us with the subject line “Inspired to Ride competition” and tell us who won the men’s category of the inaugural Trans Am. Clue: he’s also speaking at the screening. Further clue: he’s spoken at a previous edition of the festival (that time about breaking the round the world cycling record). A winner will be picked on 5 June, so be quick!
You can get your tickets for the film now, from the Watershed website: http://www.watershed.co.uk/whatson/6601/inspired-to-ride/
