So if you have a great idea for an event & can roll up your sleeves to make it happen. We’d love to hear from you!

The heart of the festival is that it’s organised by the cyclists of Bristol for the cyclists of Bristol.

We’ve 3 simple criteria for events – its legal, its in Bristol, and its bike themed*. Events can be rides, film screenings, talks, arts, food, socials, family events, workshops, taster sessions or just about anything else featuring bikes in some form.

Deadline for Event Submissions: August 6th
Thats 2 weeks people, yes 2 weeks!

It’ll take roughly 15 mins to complete the form, if you’ve all the info to hand
*see Key Info below for more details on what you need to consider for submitting an event

Have an event but don’t know where to start?
Want to get involved as a volunteer or crew?

Bristol Cycle Festival Meet Up
Roll for the Soul, Weds 26th July
6.30 – 8.30pm

Rosa & Jenny will be gathered around a large table in the cafe for an informal session. The focus will be on honing your ideas, talking you through the process for organising an event and matching willing volunteers with event organisers. No need to have been to our previous LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN event, all welcome, at any level of interest in the festival.

Key Info

All the events need to be covered by insurance, but fret not.
For non competitive cycle events – there’s free insurance on offer when you register your event on Bike Week UK’s website.

For competitive event – eg time trials & races you’ll need to arrange separate insurance, or work with an organisation that has insurance that covers your event.

We’ll be hosting fortnightly sessions on Weds evening to help you at each step of the way. If access, caring responsibilities or work patterns mean that Weds eve is no good let me know and I’ll see if I can arrange another group session or 1-on-1 slot so that you’ve got all the info you need. Any questions drop me, Hannah a line on
