To celebrate the launch of issue 4 of Boneshaker Magazine, we would like to invite one and all to Cafe Kino(Stokes Croft, Bristol) for a few drinks and maybe some food (you should try the Kino Burger… yum yum).We have invited our friend Matt (Shellac Sound) to play some 78s, so there will be a gramophone dj set…
It will be the first chance to buy a copy of issue 4 and we will also have a limited edition print for sale, along with some t-shirts. Artwork from issue 4 will also adorn the walls, so there will be plenty to keep you entertained. Here are the essential details:
We hope to see you there…
Following on from Bristol’s first Cycle Festival this September, Bristol artists have come together to present Pedal Power! an exhibition of cycling inspired art at The Showroom,an empty shop at 31 College Green. We invite you to the opening on Thursday 11th November 5:30-8pm. This is a chance to come together and talk about next year- the Freewheelin’ Carnival is provisionally booked in for Saturday September 24th 2011 (nearest Saturday to Car Free day) and we hope to build a programme of events around that. The show will run 12- 21 November opening daily 10-6pm. Hope to see you there…
Thanks to all who came down, helped out or took part in Bluescreen-Bikescreen. And also thanks goes out to the Cycle Festival. Hope it returns next year. Bluescreen returns October 27th, see you then!
